Is Changing From Insomnia To Oversleeping Part Of Withdrawal?

I've been doing the try, fail, try approach to coming off meds for so long now.  However, this latest attempt seems to be doing better.  I was on 6 psych meds when I left inpatient in July 2016 for being unable to handle the total insomnia I experienced just a few weeks after coming off Depakote Sprinkles on May 31, 2016.  Now I am on 3 meds and working to slowly reduce the Klonopin.  I'm finding it surprising that on 2.375 mg of Klonopin, 1125 mg of Depakote Sprinkles and 25 mg of Anafranil that there have been so many nights now where I am actually oversleeping.  This past Saturday I slept for somewhere around 20 hours and on Sunday I slept for around 14 hours.  This prompted me to attempt to reduce to 2.25 mg of Klonopin tonight.  Has anyone seen periods during their withdrawal where they are crashing and having a huge amount of sleep?

That does seem to happen once in a while, but I don't think it is terribly common (thus why you aren't getting responses). Most of us just fantasize about sleep like that. But seriously, it is a sign that your body is still not at a normal state. I wouldn't fight it (the body does what it needs to do) but I wouldn't encourage it either.
