20 weeks out, sinus pressure and dizziness

Hey all,

I've been having a lot of problems recently with sinus pressure and dizziness, which I didn't have earlier in my acute phase or many weeks after. I have seen some symptoms come and go since jumping (dry eyes were a major issue at one point, but no longer), but this has been a hard one to deal with. There are intermittent periods where I feel tremendous pressure in my ethmoid sinuses, which feels like someone is pinching the bridge of my nose, or like I'm wearing very heavy sunglasses. Along with this is usually a feeling of dizziness, which gives me the sensation that I may fall or faint. If you've had anything like this during your recovery, how long did it last? How did you deal with it?

Thanks

I think different kinds of head pressure (sinuses, tight band around the forehead, etc.) are normal with this... as is dizziness.  It's hard to say how long these things will last, as it seems to be different for everyone.

Rest assure that these are common symptoms.  I hope you feel much better soon.

I've had and have a lot of sinus issues during my period in tolerance and now, it has eased a bit the last month, I think there's a rebuilding in this area, I've noticed the symptoms shifts from different parts of the body and then it rotates and comes back in a less severe state, like the brain is saying: ohhh gosh I didn't really fix this area properly last time. ;D

I've got dizziness at the same time, I think the dizziness is a part of the sinus thing, the sinus is a part of the ears and the ears are lots of balance nerves or smt like that. I'm sorry English is just my second language so it's difficult to explain it, but I hope it makes sence

Coincidentally, I ended up with my first ever sinus infection around four and a half months out. I never had any sinus issues before that. It started with dizziness and head pressure, then some truly foul tasting post nasal drip. If you have mucus, I'd recommend inhaling steam or using saline spray. I've since been diagnosed with laryngopharyngeal reflux, which can cause sinus infections. I ended up having to take amoxicillin.
