Feeling great

3 weeks at 8mg from that drastic drop and I have the strongest urge to pick up my guitar and sing. Maybe I'm starting to heal through taper.. one can hope. The depression has lifted.

Idk, but I'm happy for you. I just made a big cut to 1 mg daily Xanax and have moments where I feel a strange almost euphoria...I don't know what else to call it. I'm not sure if I was overly sedated on the Xanax dose I was initially prescribed so tapering is "waking" my brain up or what.

 

There are difficult symptoms, too, but this euphoric energized feeling is definitely odd.

That is wonderful to hear! I am SO happy for you, treasure these moments and realize that feeling is what you will have for the rest of your life once you are off, SO much to look forward to
