Don't take it! I took it in January and it caused a major setback I still haven't fully recovered from- reved up my entire system and I had been doing really well. I would strongly advise you ask your doctor for something else.

I took it and I had a major setback as well.  On top of that it caused yeast and the medication for that made things even worse.

I would not take it again.

Flagyl was terrible for me.  I took is as prescribed but had crazy awful anxiety and yeast or something infection that just persisted for months afterwards.  My doctor just kept saying how safe it was but I should have asked for something different cause it was awful.

I'm taking a flulike gel for an infection right now. Would that cause the same problems as taking it orally. My side effects have been ok today but I had a huge heart rate spike yesterday

How many months did it take you to get over the flagyl? It's been three months for me and though things have improved significantly my anxiety and sleep (adrenaline rushes, vivid dreams) are still quite challenging and are causing trouble functioning.

 

I am starting to become discouraged.

I used a flagyl cream for rosacea for a week.  It caused increased depression and anxiety. Never again.

Flagyl made me terribly I'll. Horribly.
