Strange thing is happening in my taper /withdrawal

Before I take my taper dose I feel fine but after taking it and most of the day I have bad anxiety. Also jittery.  but 24 hours later before I take a dose i feel fine.  Seems like it should be the opposite.  anyone else experience this

Yes! Lots of times my dose made feel like crap.

May I ask what is your benzo?

I did briefly for about a week or week and a half once with Ativan. I had made a cut and it began after that. I take my full dose before bed and would have weird side effects like anxiety/panic attacks each night.

Clonazapam.  also getting real tired.  Take my dose in the morning.  Thought it had to do with taking unisom the night before but I didnt take any last night

Same thing happened to me near the end of my taper, Todd.  I just took it to mean my brain and body were saying stop stop stop.  Get off this stuff!!!!

Yep, usually about 30 minutes after i take it i get a wave of depression and rapid heartbeat. I dose once a day at bedtime. Took me a bit to make the connection.

just started happening to me right at the 5mg mark, totally. couple times i felt awful (more than my usual awful) after dosing, and usually now i feel more blahh then right before.

i try to take this as a good sign, like, im at a point where my body is telling me its going to feel much better without this crap. i know thats not exactly how it works at this stage, but its one of the mental tricks im playing to get through.

but yep, again, right at 5mg i started getting this. the doses sometimes give me fatigue too; thats a biggie, fatigue like i had when i hit initial tolerance.

ugh im so tired of all this........

thanks for all the responses.  Yeh, I take my dose which is under .125 mg of clonazapam.  30 minutes later I get bad anxiety and today fatigue.  After about 8 hours it slowly starts getting better.  Hopefully it wont last too long.  It not enough anxiety where I cant function.  Just enough to be bothersome

and todd, for me, this effect also seems to be just another phase, i dont think youre resigned to this being the norm from here on out. (i=understanding that there is no norm here lol)
