I am 6 months off now and the vibrating and constant feeling of having a giant motor inside my body has tortured me to the point I can no longer enjoy even the most basic of things. My blood feels like water in a jacuzzi, I really don't know how I am making it through the terribly long days at the moment. It feels like my body is about to fall apart. The pain is unreal, all my joints, muscles, skin, everything. I woke half the street up the other night, yelling on the top of my voice because of searing pain in my right leg. It's the kind of pain that will make one think they're as good as dead, any minute the final blow will be delivered and that'll be it, no other way to describe it.

It's one I now honestly think, for me anyway, may not be

I suppose I could call some improvements out though. I am on my second week of a massive dose of vitamin D, and I've noticed I've actually lost a symptom or two completely!. It's really hard to notice any improvements though.

It really is worth getting your vitamin levels tested, as since I started taking 40000 units of vitamin  D once a week,my head symptoms vanished.

They felt like 'fluttering' 'itching' 'floating head'  and the occasional attack of head pressure if I did move around too much, now absolutely gone.

If head sensations are a problem for you then it's well worth getting tested, at best nothing will be found, and if anything does show up, like vitamin D, then it can certainly be corrected.

I've also noticed a tiny increase in my energy levels, and this is only the second week, so who knows what else may pack it's bags once the 7th week gets here.

I'm waiting until my vitamin D levels go back up before anything else now, but any improvements must surely be good ones.

Anyone else find it very hard to tell if they've got any better?.

I was exactly at the same point 6 months out. At 9 months out things got better. Just keep on going, don't think to much - don't change things like taking other meds or supplements - go through it. It gets better!!

I tried the vitamin D because my levels were dangerously low and many of my sxs were identical to those of a severe deficiency. I'm somewhat glad to be rid of the head sensations, I do wonder if that was part of the vitamin D issue. Any improvement is better than nothing. I won't put all my eggs in one basket anymore and blame it all on Benzos/whatever the hell else may have been in the 'pellet' crap I was taking until I've ruled other things out.

Hey Dapple I'm having a similar problem with the body vibrating and feeling like there's a motor running through my body. It can be very intense in the mornings and night time. I am sorry you are going through so much body pain though.

With the head symptoms, did you also feel any buzzing, movement, or pins and needles inside your brain? That's what I feel everyday now. I am wondering if maybe vitamin D could work for me...

Yes, it felt like my head was full of butterflies, my temples 'fluttered', and it felt like my brain was burning. The pressure in my head, which was entirely on my right side, started to subside around Christmas last year. I also had the 'floating' head thing, but only if I moved. All the head sensations are gone now, but the vibrating in my body is so bad I'm stuck back in bed trying to sleep all the time as it's the only escape from it. Distraction doesn't work, it's like water, it'll find the tiniest little hole in your resolve and get in.
