In my on line research there seemed to be a three year time period to complete withdrawal. I am close to the three year mark and still experience intrusive thoughts, overwhelming feelings of condemnation and depression. Can this still be the results of Xanax withdrawal?

Hi  :) Welcome to BenzoBuddies!

Congrats on being  Xanax free. Although i am sorry you are having symptoms so far out from your CT.  Although the majority of members here heal within 18 months it can sometimes take longer. I am three and half years out from my CT and I still have some symptoms, although the majority are gone.

You might like to check out The Ashton Manual it is an authoritative source on what to expect in withdrawal and recovery.  Dr. Ashton is an expert in the field.
