Abilify what dose do you take? I just started 5 mg/day and it might be too much

I have treatment resistant depression. Dx is bipolar, although it could be agitated depression, IDK.

I have started on 5 mg of Abilify and it seems just a bit too much. I am having some side effects like insomnia and occasional tremors (it's like shivering but don't feel cold). The tremors have happened twice, and I've only been on Abilify for a week. It has helped with my depression, not a lot, but enough for me to think I am going to like this med a lot. Does 2 mg help without side effects? How long before the depression lets up? Does it help with anxiety? Any info is much appreciated. Dr. Google is not as informative as I had hoped.

I have had the numb/brain fog/lethargic/debilitating type of depression for years. Swinging into a mild depression seems appealing to me.

If you just started this SHIT, you may consider just stop taking it .  It my opinion it is poison, designed to, in effect, lobotomize you..

 

I was on risperdal, (another antipsychotic) for 4.5 years and it had ruinous effects on me.

 

Do your own research on it, and DO NOT just rely on YOUR DOCTOR, with "medications" (poisons) they want to put you on..

 

If you have such depression, get your ass to the gym, regularly for a few months and eat well, and I'm sure your depression will lift.  Don't knock it before you try it..

 

One other thought, I bet the only reason your depression is treatment resistant, is because of all of the drugs you are on - I couldn't get close to being well, while on a bunch of big Pharma poisons.
