Reinstatement

Has anyone done a cold turkey and had sick severe symptoms they waited 6 months to a year to resume a slow taper?

There have been a few people on this forum that have reinstated after six months.  Maybe they will respond.  Many many more have considered it, including me.  I decided not to reinstate because there is no guarantee that it would not be worse.

Why dont you did an ashton taper thid time uf you already did several other successful ?

I reinstated only after a few days. I was wondering if I should wait till I stabilize then start Ashton or microtaper. How long should I wait. Is it bad to wait more than a month or two?

I personally would wait.  I dont know your history, but as a general rule it's best to be stable before you taper.

I did a C/T off 13 mg of Xanax. I was in such poor shape after 3 years so I reinstated to K and then began a very slow taper.........I'm done with the K and now more than halfway through my Valium taper. I'm going slow with this one too.

I did a C/T off 13 mg of Xanax. I was in such poor shape after 3 years so I reinstated to K and then began a very slow taper.........I'm done with the K and now more than halfway through my Valium taper. I'm going slow with this one too.

 

You immediately stabilized after reinstating after beeing 3 years free ?
