Even with a chest cold wanted to offer hope!

So this forum has been my lifeline since my taper got hard in January and I just wanted to thank everybody so much for the amazing support and community this place has provided me, even though I woke up with a cold and coughing(could have something to do with touching cars yesterday knowing full well I am extremely allergic) but I feel amazing! I felt like death about five days ago and was tempted to give up, pretty much every minute was hell. The past few days not as much, I sang last night in front of people(I was a singer) and it was amazing, I felt so much like the pre benzo me again I wanted to cry, so if you are struggling now keep going because it gets better!!!

 

Also don't be afraid of supplements, I know they are not for everybody but adding certain ones into my taper has been great like fish oil and potassium, I truly think potassium eased up my fatigue and muscle aches! I might be sick but today I am high on life and the promise of what the future hold. We will all be ok and amazing after this!

Songbird, want to thank you for mentioning Jennifer Leigh's site in another post. I was having a very bad day Friday, the worst since the beginning of all this, and spent time on her blog. Helped a lot! Hope your over the cold soon. I got a bad head cold in the fall and the only thing good about it was it distracted from my benzo symptoms
