Ahh after a great window now I'm sick need advice!

Had another glorious window last night even better than the last and then woke up at 1 am coughing up green stuff(sorry gross) I'm nervous being it's making me cough a lot and that makes me feel like I can't breathe and also like I'm choking a bit, not great for benz withdrawal, any advice about how to beat a nasty chest cold quickly without medication? This is definitely not benzo related I'm legitimately sick.

I just heard that while you're going through withdrawl is it taking any kind of antibiotic can make you really sick  and caused terrible symptoms so I was just hoping that maybe somebody had suggestions as to a natural benzo withdrawal friendly remedy

I have two elementary aged kids, so we have colds in our house often.  Just get lots of rest, drink a ton of fluids (bone broth is awesome), humidifier or steam showers to break up the mucous, and wait it out.  If you have a cough that doesn't go away or gets worse after after a week or you spike a fever, then see a doc.  Out of all of the colds in our house, we have only had to treat 2 of them because one turned into bronchitis and the other pneumonia.

I've got a horrible cold as well. No fun... I've been drinking lots of OJ, sucking on cough drops & zinc lozenges, with the occasional dose of DayQuil Severe cold medicine. It seems to helping & it did seem to get rid of my killer headache, very sore throat & ears, if only for a couple of hours.

Regular antibiotics are fine, it's the Quinolones that screw people over.

 

That said, it sounds silly but it works... I either steam up the shower like crazy and then turn it down to regular hot, and get in, and breath the steam, or boil a pot of water and breathe a lot of the steam. Clears me right up.
