Hi guys! I jumped off 0.03mg klonopin on 03/03/2017. If you look at my previous post you would see that my withdrawals are primarily just a spike in anxiety(panic attacks), depression, depersonalization, vertigo, dizziness, feeling unbalanced, etc. I've been sleeping a whole lot better, like a LOT better! I sleep 8-10 hours and my depersonalization/brain fog is gone for the most part. I do get some strong anxiety but my major problem right now is my depression! I feel like i have NO energy. I also feel extremely dizzy/unsteady. I could be studying and when I get up to go do something like walk across the room or go take out the trash I feel like the walls are slightly tilted and the floors are a bit concave. I have to hold unto something to walk sometimes due to the fear that I will lose my balance, IS THIS A BENZO WITHDRAWAL?? I'm going unto my 4th week off benzos already. Also, the main reason I am here:

I want to know if I should take any supplements to help me with the depression, anxiety and dizziness?

I have bipolar disorder so I do experience depression once in a while BUT I quit the medication route back in '11 and went into exercising, going out, focusing on college and I would take vitamin B supplements once in a while and I honestly felt as normal as anyone can be lol. Never had another episode in my life again. But due to the benzo withdrawals I have found all of those things so difficult to achieve because for one, I can't workout feeling like I'm gonna faint or go into a panic attack, going out gets me anxious (have some social anxiety due to withdrawals). So I don't know if I should take some vitamin B supplements because I don't want to worsen my klonopin withdrawals but at the same time I want to alleviate my bipolar disorder symptoms. I'm not taking psychiatric medications, won't even consider it. I've been there, done that and they're not for me. What would you guys suggest?

4 weeks out is still pretty early, so could be some residual symptoms. You are doing GREAT 4 weeks off! I jumped too fast from 2 high a dose & at week 3 & 4, I was a hot mess!

Supplements can sometimes rev up symptoms for people. I'd wait a couple more weeks & see how you feel!

B vitamins help some and rev up symptoms in others.  If you want to try supplements, start with just one type (or one multivitamin) daily.  If you were taking large doses of B vitamins, it might be a good idea to cut the supplements in half for a bit to see how they affect you.  Supplements can be helpful, but it is very individual as to what supplements help vs. worsen withdrawal.

I do well on magnesium glycinate, but others find it revs up their symptoms.
