Serious depression one day and gone the next

Two days ago I knew I had started feeling a lot of depersonalization and derealization and usually I can keep my head about me and just tell myself it's the withdrawal, it's fine, this will pass.  But I couldn't do that any longer.  I started thinking that my whole life was stupid and then I realized that is how I think when I am depressed.

Then, last night, I finally had a good night's sleep, first in a long time, and today I am feeling really hopeful and happy.  It's just so weird.  I was thinking I was going to be depressed for a while, but it just vanished.

I experience this as well. Because the depression is so sporadic and random, I'm taking that as a good sign that it's caused by the benzo damage and therefore not permanent!

Yes, I have this. I'll go 2-3 days of feeling just god awful and like there is NO end in sight, then I'll have a day (sometimes only HOURS) of feeling GREAT! I just pray those great times increase in frequency as get lower and lower and after I jump.

I agree that it is sign of healing. Your CNS just needs to re-adjust itself.
