Whenever i tilt my head forward or backward the room spins and I feel like i am falling.  Has anyone had this issue? Does it ever end? I am so bummed.

Your visual system, your vestibular system in your ears, and the feedback from your muscles are all integrated in your brain to give you your sense of balance.

If your vestibular system is out of wack, your brain may decide to rely more heavily on your visual system to build your sense of balance, but this will make you more susceptible to sudden changes in head position.

This has happened to me as well.

That happened to me when I was tapering .....I actually woke up out of my sleep with the room spinning super fast....it was so scarey...and dr. said it was an inner ear disturbance.  I was given medication that stops it but mine stopped on its own so I never took the medication.

Hi Nathan! Did it improve ever? Thanks for the explanation. This started 5 weeks ago and had lessened and then today it put me back down. So overwhelming!

Yes you're not alone. I'm a dental hygienist so when I work on a patient and look up or move my eyes quick I gasp BC I feel like I'm falling.

I am sorry you have it too. I am glad you can at least work. I cant drive or do anything. So bummed. I hope it improves for you. I hate having no balance.

I had that for a very long time, for months if I remember right.

Completely gone.

There is hope!

There's something called BPPV that can cause dizziness. It's when little calcium crystals get in your vestibular tubes in your inner ear. The Epley manuever that can be done by the dr  can help with that.
