8 months of I have migrating burning joint pain and it is every joint. My dr thinks I have RA. It hit suddenly in the middle of the night. It comes in ver strong waves where i can barely move my fingers or bend my knees then just disapears for a day only to return again. Has anyone had this in withdrawl? I dont just mean oh my knee feels stiff. I am talking burning fire pain over every joint cannot move. It is terrifying. Thanks everyone!

I do have arthritis in some of my joints and the pain is definitely more intense and the rest of my joints and muscles are absolutely feeling bad.  Everything has gotten more intense since I've been off of Klonopin completely. This week is worse than last, so my guess it what is happening to you is similar.  I'd get a second opinion though. RA is serious and it's entirely possible to develop it, but if you're not certain, get a second opinion.  Be well!

At 2 months cold turkey my knees and lower back are also killing me. They feel very stiff and sore along with lots of muscle pain that has no reason to be there. I also wonder if this is WD? Just seems strange to cause this sort of thing doesnt it.

Yes, I have all of this you guys, and have had extensive testing (blood, MRI) which has all been normal. No RA, no autoimmune stuff, no MS, etc). I had none of this before withdrawal and I am only 43 and healthy. I believe it can be all withdrawal.

It is withdrawal, I had it bad for the first 3 months.  'The Ashton Manual' says that deep/burning pain in bones and muscles is a signature symptom of benzo withdrawal.
