Trying to quit

Hi everyone, I am trying to quit clonazepam. I started my taper at 4mg per day and am now at .75mg per day. Looking for support and information as well as I want to encourage others and support them as well. I have been on clonazepam for almost 4 years, started at 4mg then and started the taper process after about 2 years of taking it. This last year I've been at .75  and recently tried to drop .25 and had to resume the .75 so I will keep on trying only at a slower pace. Thanks for considering me to this group.

Well done on your decision to taper off, it sounds like your doing okay. The suggested taper rate is no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days, its fine to go slower, whatever you are comfortable with. You will find plenty of information and support here.

Have you heard of the Ashton Manual, an excellent resource about these types of drugs and how to withdraw. It was written by an expert in the field.
