Just did stress test at the doctors . Still waiting for results . When I was on the treadmill my heart felt pain and dizziness as the technician increased the intensity .i started to cry bc I thought I was dying . Then I calmed down .  Anyone has problem with heart pain and dizziness when on treadmill ?

I've been working out a lot and I often get dizzy and amped up.

My heart rate raises, but doesn't have that same pain as it does when I'm having a panic attack.

When I first started running it was hard, but I think my body has become adjusted to it and now it

is a benefit, although it is a struggle.

I don't use a treadmill I run on a track or outside. Maybe you should try this to so you can slow down and

walk whenever you want to and pace yourself so you don't over do it. Natural running is much better for you then on a treadmill anyways, and more muscles are used.

Youve had this issue before-correct tracy? There is a huge difference between true heart related chest pain and benzo inducing chest pain. Ive had both (ie-stents in my heart-and anxiety/panic pain located near my heart) and although the benzo induced pain is scary it is also completely harmless. Didnt you already have a stress test or some other procedure and the Drs. told you it wasnt your heart?

Hi Windwalker, I never had a stress test before. However, I had 4 EKGS done at the ER, urgent care, family doctor and cardiologist. They said all normal. I noticed my heart rate on those tests were 68. Is this number sound normal to you? Sorry I am so obsessed about the heart thingy and became so paranoid b/c of the heart symptoms.

Today when I was on a treadmill to do the stress test. My heart started more pain and dizziness as the technician make the treadmill faster. I think I also got a panic attack and notice my blood pressure went up to 140/80, then I notice I calm down and it drop to 110 or 105/(forgot the bottom number).  I am waiting for the cardiologist to call for result.

In my family history, no one has a heart issue. No history of heart issue.  I have never had a heart issue before. However, I Remember when I Was on xanax and paxil, I complained a few times to the family doctors of mild heart pain, and they did the EKGs all were normal. They told me it was stress. But now I think it was because of the xanax. When I completely off xanax, the heart pain started in Month 4 until now. IT still bad now, it comes and go.

What im saying tracy is that it isnt actually "heart pain" that you say it is. Just because you have discomfort in your chest area doesnt mean its your heart. When you do have actual heart/chest pain there is absolutely no denying it. You KNOW it is from your heart. The anxiety provoked chest pain that you seem to be getting is 100% harmless as all of your tests have proven just as im sure your stress test will also show. Try to relax and not worry about it because it will go away. But until it does-keep in mind it is harmless and caused only by anxiety from benzo withdrawal. Good luck trace and hang tough!

Thank you so much for your explanation . I got it now! The nurse from the cardiologist called today for stress test result and they say it is NORMAl . I'm not going to worry about my heart anymore . You are right , I get discomfort in my chest area and thinking it's the heart . I still do , wondering when it will go away . But it's ok at least I know it's harmless I will try to relax .
