Me too.I feel the best during day when I sleep like 2 hours per night. My other symptoms are then not there almost. The other day I slept like all night 9 hours and got up in morning and felt horrible all day.I have too no idea why.Maybe we are them more concentrate on not sleeping then on symptoms the other day when we do not sleep.Or it has something to do with insomnia and metabolism?I have no clue but would love to know. :smitten:

It's strange isn't it!!! I've been wondering if it has something to do with the bodys adrenaline? And when we havent got enough sleep less adrenaline gets releases? Just a theory... Would be nice to know!!

This is nuts. Over the past three days I've not been sleeping in and feeling better too! I used to think I needed as much sleep as humanly possible or I'd be very sick the next day, but now it seems to be the opposite. I'll keep monitoring the situation, but I'm so confused right now.

This is really strange.

Maybe our bodies are used to sleep less hours...

I am experiencing a patter    6h-4h-4h. In the 6h day, I am more lazy, but with more focus. In the 4h days, I am with less focus and more intrusive, but I am more energetic to do my routine.

well. I am not oing to try to understand benzo things... just do it  :D

I can not find a happy medium. It seems like I either get too much or not enough.

We're getting terrible sleep quality regardless, so it's very hard to say.

But I notice if I try to sleep in and roll around in bed in the morning I feel super groggy and awful as well.

I think going to bed as early as you can fall a sleep then getting up when you're up or the morning anxiety kicks in

is the best.

I DREAM OF THE DAY WHEN SLEEP IS GOOD AND FEELS REFRESHING AGAIN.

It seems like it will never ever happen.

I am baffled by that one, but in my opinion is a fortunate position to be in. insomnia is a fairly common symptom and we have many members that 5 to 6 hours just doesn't do it.

No. It was just coincidence for me. Three days of waking up before my alarm and I felt great. Today I set the alarm a little earlier and I've been sick since waking.

Just waves and windows on my end.  :idiot:

Me too. Seven hours two nights ago fatigued with more symptoms. Last night five hours, tired but less symptoms. I've noticed this at other times too. I can't figure this one out.

Thanx for all your replies!  ; :-* It would be nice to know the reason to why this is, but I guess we can only speculate... As with benzo wd nothing makes any funking sence!

Best of luck to all of you ❤

Is this due w/d? Been suffering of it for a long time  :o

This is easy to explain and I went through the same thing. The brain gets use and adjust to little sleep, so when we get a a good night sleep, its kind of a shock to our system. I remember the first time I got 8 hours of sleep after months of poor sleep, I felt like shit the next day. It was a long process getting back to normal. At first I would get one good night and then always a poor next night. Then 2 good nights and then a poor night. Then I worked my self up to 3 good nights and so on. It was a long process before my brain got use to good sleep again. You'll get there, it just takes time and patience. With me I never would take anything, I just fought through it. When you start to get good sleep, (and the University of Michigan sleep center told me this) the body will crave more sleep and make you almost feel to tired to sleep, if that makes sense.

I can remember feeling so tired before bed (in a bad way) that I couldn't sleep so I  started drinking coffee before bed and that helped, believe it or not.

I have the same experience and I think Wolflake might be right.

Lately I've been averaging 4-5 hours of sleep. There are some dreams but I generally conk out around midnight and wake up around 4:30. I got back to bed but might only lightly doze for a bit until my brain clicks on for the day (and then there's no turning it off).

Last night, I slept over 7 hours. You'd think I'd feel great but today I've felt worse than if I'd gotten half that. So, you all are not alone. Almost one year off and sleep is still all over the place, but it doesn't matter, I sleep and that's a lot more than I can say at this time 12 months ago when I couldn't sleep at all without the aid of drugs. These days, I don't take anything.

Now, when I fall asleep, I fall asleep hard. It's only a matter of time before I can sleep through the night, or most of the night.
