taper plan

could someone make out an extremely slow taper plan for 8mg valium with ashton method input and added info on holding if needed? Need it for my dr appt tomorrow.

How are you feeling on the 8mg Valium? It's a big jump down from 3mg Ativan. Maybe a couple more weeks to rest before you try to taper would be helpful?

 

I found I couldn't plan my taper from start to finish. In the beginning I cut 0.5 mg/week and gradually slowed down to 0.25/two weeks. I think if you tell your doctor you are committed to tapering carefully they should be willing to work with you on the prescription.
