I've always just dosed once but see some dose multiple times.

Most folks on diazepam dose 2X, but because of its long half life, 1X is fine for most folks.

 

FYI, I always dose 2X until I got down to 3mg, then I switched to 1X.  No problem.

4X but soon 3 then 2. It just works better for me..so I stuck to it. B
