Perception of time is whacked. Any explanations?

Minutes are hours. Hours are days. Days are weeks. Anyone else experience this?

I can't imagine any sort of future... just a murky, dark abyss.

I have painfully detailed memories and looping thoughts of the past that are exactly like flashbacks, but at same time it feels like it happened to someone else. ( I think that's DR combined with whatever is going on in the hippocampus.)

This might be a post for "Chewing the Fat," as I'm not really seeking support, just curious if anyone else get this or has any theories.  I'm keeping the faith and believe it will resolve itself. Just kinda wish time would speed up, not slow down!!

Yes! This is the weirdest experience. I am going through thatbthrough the whole process. I dont know if the brain is just trying to reboot or cope. But time and everything is off. Like totally strange. I get the weird memories too. Nothing is where it should be. Then when i wake up its a whole other set of weirdness. I think i have dp/dr bad and it is just to survive. I dont know how to change it so i am doing my best to not freak out and accept it.

Do others have perception issues with time? Distance? I can drive in a car only 5 minutes and it feels like 5 hours. Everything is so distirted in my processing.  Just wondering about others.
