Help! Undecided. Few Questions

Hello,

I'm taking a low dosage of klonopin daily at night for anxiety. I've tapered from .35 mg to .25 mg but very slowly and I'm having some serious issues with my gums. I'm going to have them checked tomorrow. I've read that gum disease can occur during taper. I'm not sure if I should just speed things up with tapering. Will that help my teeth? I'm so worried about losing teeth or having permanent halitosis. UGH

I've been on the lower dose klonopin for 4 weeks and my teeth have hurt the whole time since lowering. I'm starting to wonder if staying on a low dose of klonopin long term is actually better than the actual anxiety now. I know anxiety can cause or lead to alzheimer's which is what I fear if I stay on Klonopin.  I know that many health issues can arise from anxiety though. I'm so confused. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. To stay on or off? To taper fast or slow?    :(

Id suggest stay where you're at until you get checked tomorrow and get the results back ! just in case. Some people gotta take it very slowly if they are prone to diseases and things like that !
