Bad relationship/conflict=10 times worst symptoms?

Every 2, 3 or 4 days wife force me into discussing why I should leave her ( or her leave me...). In essence she says I'm sick and therefore it gets her sick ( she's been diagnosed to be in a major depression); this environnement makes my symtoms 10 times worst. Problem is I'm broken and cannot afford to leave at the moment... I'd be on the street! And cannot work: too sick. My life is over, I just can't see any solution, I'm in a trap! She never gets to see any solution I offer her, it's all black in her head. She says she needs a "REAL" man but I cannot fullfill all hers needs at the moment... She says I don't talk much but I do this to protect her, that is not to talk about my symptoms which she forbids me to do. I try to talk about positive things but to no avail. She brings me back in her black world. She has palpitation because of me, she has insomnia beaucause of me, etc. It's all my fault. And she forbids me to smoke too,  to look at the computer, etc. It's denial she says. But I need to distract myself!!! Worst: when I have respiratory problems she ask me to stay in my room so I don't disturb her!!! i'm like a 5 years old under her thumb and I don't see any solution... HELP, HELP!

No, I have no family to help. We have a daughter (40 years old) but she forbids me to talk to her...

Screw her, for better or worse, that was the vow right? Sickness and health. I totally get it, I suffered insomnia, panic attacks, pain, all because of my husbands illnesses but I never did that to him

Ask her what she would want you to do if she was the sick one

I am sorry you are going through this, I definitely went through relationship stuff during my time on Klonopin, still tapering off now but I get how this would make things so much more difficult during tapering, marriage is really for better or worse and if she can't stick by you at your worst she doesn't deserve you when you are back to your best. Maybe one of you could stay in a hotel or with relatives or friends for a few weeks until things get a bit easier, sometimes a break or time apart can help change perspective. Good luck!
