Depression from Ativan withdrawal

I'm not sure how this is even possible. I was prescribed Ativan in February for anxiety that came on after taking an antibiotic. The Ativan gave me relief and allowed me to get some sleep because insomnia was so bad. About 2 weeks after I started it I decided to see if I could sleep and I did. 2 days later I started to get dizzy and started connecting the dots. After reading all of the horror stories of addiction I decided I wouldn't take anymore. 2 days later I was hit with horrible depression. I had to take it. I decided to take a little tiny bit everyday. 11 days ago I quit taking even that small amount. Since I've been in this horrible state of depression. I just feel like not getting out of bed. It's horrible. Does anyone know how long this will last since I was only on it for a total of 3 weeks?
