I've read enough posts on here to know that instrusive and morbid thoughts are common in withdrawal

I've been plagued with them since the fall when my klonopin dose got cut then after my Ct 72 days ago. They seemed to get better and I was learning to live with them. Then last night I had a very disturbing morbid dream. I can't shake it. I want to go back to bed cause being awake is too hard.

I'm a superstitious person by nature and of course I looked up my dream on the internet and the results were very ominous. I know that probably added to my discomfort but I can't help it.

When does this symptom end? As you all know I'm getting married soon. We are planning on having a baby. I got a lot of good things on the horizon and this symptom is making it very difficult to enjoy any of it.

I read that dreams even bad ones are signs of healing.

I did have morbid thoughts before I went to sleep so maybe this contributed.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm at a loss and have no idea how I'm going to get through today.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, I had vivid bad dreams and intrusive thoughts for my first several months off.  The vivid dreams are supposed to be a sign of the brain healing. It will definitely end for you in time, but at 72 days off it's still early days yet.  I hope you start to feel better soon.  Time is the healer.

After 90 days is when I started to see light at the end of the tunnel. 72 days is early, hang in there, these feelings you are having is temporary

Yes, I used to have euphoric dreams - I could even remember for years. Now, at 7 mo. off Klonopin, I have hideous dreams. I can still only get about 4 hr. sleep per day and desperately need to fall asleep but am afraid to.

I'm 10 days off Klonapin c/t. When I do get a little sleep I have  bad dreams, odd dreams. So real and awful i can remember them. Last night I slept 9-10pm and 2-330am both times I had bad dreams woke up sweating, legs jerking, panicked, I want to sleep too being awake hurts. To many w/d symptoms to list. Back of my head is numb my tounge. So dizzy I can't see straight. Hard to type. I would love to sleep.  I understand completely. w/d are hell.
