Tried to sleep and of course I lay there eyes closed trying to sleep and Im so incomfortable my arms and legs actually start to tighten, kind of like how you lay on an arm and it goes numb but Im not laying on it, this all happens eyes closed trying to sleep, seriouly I have no clue WTF is wring with me! And if I do sleep I wake up shortly after and I am numb, I really think I have more brain damage now, Can't take it anymore

My Dr gave me a script for Trazadone. I would not be sleeping at all without it. I take 100mg with 2 Benadryl at bedtime. I get 3-4 hrs broken sleep, better then nothing. Not sleeping at all is the worst. So tired but body is so amped.  :(

Hello there,

I know exactly what your'e going through. I took my last Xanax on March 10th. 10 days ago, and I am up and down all night. I think I may not be suffering as much as you are because I did a quick taper for a month before stopping. I am struggling all night to sleep with the hot and cold sweats too. A fan feels wonderful on my sweaty skin, maybe you could try that? I notice your doc gave you Trazadone. I wish I had some of that, perhaps I will ask my doctor in the morning for an RX of that. We are suffering because our bodies are healing, just try to remember that when you feel the worst. I'm so sorry your'e in so much discomfort, but you are not alone. I tried going for a walk yesterday and stayed away from caffeine candy and chocolate. I slept so much better without all that bad stuff in my system. Not as many horrible night jolts sending me sitting bolt upright in my sleep. Its scary, I wake up believing someone is hanging over me in my sleep and trying to kill me when I eat sweets before bed. I hope this helps, I'm struggling too, but trying so hard to stay positive. I wish you the best sleep tonight!!

Hi Mark, I have seen your posts in the past and I know you believe it is not withdrawal, you have something else and it must be fatal. That is 100% normal and we all believe the same thing is happening. There is nothing unusual about that. Try to open your rational mind to believe it is withdrawal and at 5 months you are actually early into the process. I have been off for 16 months now and I still have a shitload of problems. I believe what you have is WD, and me too but those voices tell me it's not. More intrusive thoughts we cannot get rid of. I know the insomnia symptom is terrible because when I don't sleep I feel like shit. I hope things get better for you soon brother.
