Has anyone had loss of appetite for a long period of time and you have to force yourself to eat daily?

And during my waves i feel so weak i tend to fall asleep and when i wake up i keep wondering am i passing out from fear or is body genuinely just sleepy because im pregnant so i fall asleep (cuz i dont sleep much at night).

Any thoughts?

hey jus jus

bless you! being pregnant and going through withdrawals...

all of what you describe sounds very familiar to me regarding withdrawal

I take it you're getting the care you need with regards to you and your body and the pregnancy?

Emotions from my experience are nothing short of completely over whelming in withdrawal and in early pregnancy.

Take good care  :smitten: :smitten:

Trying my best to cope. I suppose if i wasnt pregnant who knows i wudve been able to cope lil better...i dont knw. Care wise...no real family support and docs/OB jus dont get it. For me its like everything mixed up in one...hormones and withdrawal. Never really sure which one is messing me up.

Been to the doc recently. She kept me for a full hour in her office asking a bunch of stupid question then concludes she cant help me and i have General Anxiety Disorder and i should get treated for that.

Im going for an orientation at a nice Midwives and Birth Centre im done with public health care and these docs who are jus irritating me at this point. Once all goes well i will attend antental care until labour and delivery at that institution.

Hey Jus jus:  Congratulations on your pregnancy!!  That is wonderful news indeed.

As for your exhaustion, it is probably due to the pregnancy AND being in a wave.  When I get hit with a wave, I get very tired too.  You have a baby on the way and being in a wave, which is double tiring on your body.

Don't stress about this and focus on getting better and having a healthy baby.  Try to eat often with small snacks/meals.  Be good to yourself!  You have a lot to look forward to.

Yes, I had to force feed myself liquid Ensure after I jumped, and I lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks. I thought I was dying/starving to death. It was quite frightening. Once I forced myself to eat every few hours, and started consuming enough daily calories whether I wanted to or not, I pushed through to getting my appetite back.

I have had loss of appetite the whole time I was on Klonopin and I lost a tremendous amount of weight.  I am now 18 months off and my appetite is SLOWLY returning.  I still have tremendous muscle weakness (which I have had for years) due to the Klonopin use.  I hope I will see more substantial improvements soon.

The good news is i have been actually gaining weight. I gained like 10lbs in 2weeks though i am not even eating has as much as i am accustomed (i suppose its the pregnancy).

But the loss of appetite alongside hormones and this recovery process is also affecting my blood sugar causing it to drop very quickly. Previously i cud go for hours without eating but now i literally have to eat every 30-60mins. The doctor was to concerned about this. But i am.
