Tapering with compound pills for four months after short term script, almost finished

I took lorazepam for 3 weeks for sleep. I started having anxiety during the day after 2 nights and started taking it during the day too. So ended up at .5 twice a day. Doctor said I could stop anytime because it was a "low dose" and taken "short term".  Well, that lasted about 5 hours... so I have been tapering for four months now with compound pills at a rate of 5-10%. I'm almost finished and slowing down to 2.5% for the last 4-5 cuts. Some things are better and some feel worse at times. I've been reading for a while and it's been helpful. I'm so appreciative of this forum.
