I'm 5 months off now and the head pressure and physical pain in my brain has been the worst and most consistent symptom since day one and it hasn't gotten any better so after 5 months I'm losing hope of any relief anytime soon. The head pressure and fatigue are the most dibilatating symptoms right now and really make it hard to function at all!

Of course I still deal with confusion, DP/DR, and intrusive thoughts too but the head pressure is the worst and it feels like my head is gonna burst with so much pressure and numbness in my forehead, in my temples up to the middle part of my head and like you said pain pressure and numbness down into my ears and into the right side of my brain!

Is this normal for it to be this severe after 5 months? Has me brain been permanently damaged? Is it ever gonna get better?

i really have no answers for you. I wish i did. I think you know that.  :smitten: I don't think you have permanent damage, but i do think your healing has been delayed.

I know but delayed after 5 months is a understatement and the head pressure numbness and physical pain in my brain is just as severe if not worse than when I was in the hospital back in October and that's a long time to suffer with no signs of improvement and hope is something that is fading fast!

I use zofran for the nausea and pressure. I was prescribed it after getting a concussion from a drunk driver who demolished my car two weeks ago. It works good for the head problems.

Hello there, my friend in suffering, :-\

I just wanted to let you know that Niacin helped me alot with the head pressure and brain zaps that your'e experiencing. Just be sure to only take one or two with food or it builds up in your system and can cause severe nausea, And yes, I agree that Zofran RX helps alot with internal queasiness during withdrawals. I wish you so much luck, don't forget to drink lots of water every hour!!
