6 weeks off Lyrica. Should I start benzo taper or wait?

I've been off of Lyrica for 6 weeks now.  The only withdrawal symptoms I notice still are some sleep issues (takes a long time to fall asleep, and I get around 4-5 hours of sleep a night) and minor GI pain/cramping.

 

Should these two remaining symptoms be completely gone before I start tapering Klonopin or would it be ok to start now?  I'm really wanting to start my K taper as soon as possible, but I also don't want to start it too soon if these symptoms would cause problems with the K taper from the get go.

 

Thoughts anyone?

Hi Starshine,

 

Based on my own experience, I think you have given it enough time between medications.  I would titrate very slowly and see how it goes.
