Wulp, told the doc the truth about my past addictions. They don't want to kick the can down the road. So I'm having to go into rehab where I'll be able to rapid withdrawal. So wish me luck. They say it always gets better. I was honest with myself. Totally detoxing from all theses meds.

 

 

I'm scared that I'll get booted of my disability even tho I do hear voices. I'm scared for my life.

Rapid detox usually does not work for benzo's but in a few cases it does work for those rare lucky people. 

All you can do is try and if it fails get ready to reinstate fast.

 

They my put you on high doses of gabapentin, topamax and valporic acid. They help but a slow taper is the best way.

Are you going to an Inpatient Treatment center or a Detox center?? Im confused

On Tuesday I'm going into rehab. M finally going to get off this thing. I finally feel ready to jump.

Rehab is probably a bit different than a detox center. Detoxes typically stop your benzodiazepines the day you step foot in their door. The ones that do a one or two week taper are far a few between. Do you know how quickly they will be withdrawing you from them?

I know. The doc just told me to rapid withdrawal. She said you ain't going to like what I have to say but your going to thank yourself when your done with it. I did have three months worth the prescription and they told the pharmacy to lock down my meds.

Yes I'm in rapid withdrawal. But it ain't like 2012 where I was freaking. I'm accepting it and going to rehab probably for atleast three months.

You suffer schizophrenia and now are going to ct klonopin in rehab? I believe you should rethink this my friend. Rehabs have no idea how to handle benzo withdrawal because they use a one size fits all approach and that doesnt work for benzos. Is this court ordered rehab or voluntary? Are you on medication for schizophrenia? I really fel bad for you buddy and hope everything works out great for you. You are a strong person!

Detox clinics are not suited for benzo withdrawal! The one I went to merely switched me to another benzo called Librium while I was there then sent me home after 4 days. After 4moredays of laying in bed at home, I woke up one morning to find my body completely dysfunctional: couldn't walk, talk, move, nothing and my system was shutting down fast. I had to reinstate. It was all for naught.
