Yep, had this for quite awhile.  Oddly enough, only in the left thumb.

Same here, this happens frequently on my left hand. Almost any finger at random.

I've got this. Not all of the time. I also get these body jerks sometimes when I lay down. Not sure what that's all about. Anyone?

so I have this randomly here and there, but this morning it started I think after I had 3 large coffees. I drove me nuts till about 3pm and then suddenly stopped and nothing so far today. the symptom was annoying as hell, but i had a hard time shaking of thoughts of serious neuro problems.....

but now that its gone.....i don't think about it....must be benzo w/d still, maybe large dose caffeine triggered it.

I had a bad twitch in my right thumb and forefinger for about 4 months after stopping but it's a LOT better now, it's pretty much gone. I only get a bit of 'tugging' and pain in my right hand if I use it for 'detailed' tasks like handwriting (frustrating as I prefer to write by hand than type for some reason and I write in my journal so I have a private record of this ordeal to look back on one day and maybe try and help someone else avoid a similar ordeal). I also attribute some of the speed this symptom has gone away to playing the guitar. Even if you can't play yet, there's no harm in picking up a cheap guitar and having a go. There's tons of resources online and it's perfect for all of us who are stuck inside. Yeah it took some energy to motivate myself to do it back in acute, but I am glad I did as I feel it's part of the reason I am one symptom down!

Had this for a few months. It alternated between various fingers or sometimes 2 or 3 at a a time. Then it changed from twitching to tingling. Was starting to think I had circulatory problems, lol, but it went away and hasn't bothered me since.

Yes, I have this too.  I first noticed it about six months after I began taking K, but it was infrequent.  I've had a number of neurological issues like this for 3-4 years, that I now know are benzo-related.  The thumb twitching is very bad some days now, but I have faith that it will get better.

My best guess is that it's because benzodiazepines are muscle relaxers.  Take them away and the muscles stop 'relaxing'.  :D

how would you guys describe it? mine literally would bend in half without notice (other then general tension in the area/arm), like somebody pulled a certain muscle controlling this movement 'played guitar  on the muscle....'. sometimes it would not move, but I would have this muscle sensation....it close to being painful...

definite healing...that's what i see these finger twitches signaling.  i get them too and they seem to come with the territory of making strides.
