Ok so latest update is I'm staying with the way that I've been doing things with the liquid Zoloft and measuring the same with the sports bottle for now as suggested and I'm on day 21 of that. So I have not changed anything yet and looking to know what my next step should be from here concerning the Zoloft such as how long should I stick to the current dose and way of doing the liquid before making another drop and trying to figure out a way to be more accurate with the measurements?

I also had a full lab of blood work done last week and just got the results back today and everything looks good other than my carbs were extremely high, my vitamin D was low, and apparently the blood results show signs of a pancreatic injury as I have low pancreatic enzyme levels ok this current blood work and from my research it has to do with the digestive system and your body's ability to break down food to get key nutrients from what I eat. My question is on that could any of this from my blood work be related to the damage caused by Xanax cause the doctor seemed to think Xanax could cause this issue and she is wanting to recheck again in 3 weeks to see what my levels are then.

Symptom update:

The head pressure burning numbness and physical pain is still the worst and most dibilatating symptom I face on a daily basis and the last two days have been so bad I could hardly left my eyes from all the pressure in my forehead and the the pressure and numbness goes up to the middle part of my hard down into my ears to the point they are clogged and popping and it hurst very bad and it goes to the right side of my head and feels like someone has stabbed my brain with a hook and just keeps jerking and pulling me down with it. How can this still be so severe after 5 months off and if it's still bad after 5 months it doesn't seem like their is any relief coming anytime soon.

Of course their is still the confusion, fatigue, DP/DR, and intrusive thoughts I have to deal with but nothing compares to the pressure and pain in my head!

So long story short my symptoms are not getting any better and now I'm having stiff shoe up on my blood work that wasn't their 6 months ago so I don't know what to think or what to do?

Hi,

Im sorry to hear about your symptoms

Im 6 months out and had an awful month 3 regarding headaches. I hope this information helps somehow:

My headaches were pressure related. I had pressure on both temples, on the forehead, on the back of my eyes and some horrible horrible pain on the right side of my head. My big noggin would get rather hot and the pressure would be so bad that I would tell my wife that my IQ dropped in half.

The things that helped me where a nice Ice pack that became my best friend during the ordeal (im telling you it alleviated the pressure and inflamation at least in a temporary manner), ibuprophen (once a day, I didnt want to take too many pills) and rest... as many naps as I could cram in.

The worst was a two week headache that was constant and made me think I had something more serious.

One day, the pressure headaches just dissapeared. I had a 3 day amazing window of wellness. Sadly, the next symptom that I got was left sided weakness and numbness and It has been pretty much constant during the past 3 months, with no real relief.  :(

I see that your profile pic is a tecmo bowl character. are you a gamer?

It seems silly but one of the things that hurts me the most is that I wasnt able to play anything while I had the pressure headaches, and then the left sided weakness doesnt allow me to use a game controller. It sucks!

Hope you find some relief soon.

My brain felt like an electrically charged bowl of jellow for 6 months. It still get minor numbness and tingling but its much improved maize. U see UM beat Oklahoma yesterday in Bball? GO BLUE!

Yeah I'm a gamer and I haven't played madden this whole year with all this mess cause I've been so sick and me and my bro in law used to enjoy that every season but no madden for me this year!

I'm a pure breed die hard Michigan fan since day one and I'm hoping we can hold on against Louisville tomorrow although that's gonna be a tough challenge for us.

I'm 5 months off now and the head pressure and physical pain in my brain has been the worst and most consistent symptom since day one and it hasn't gotten any better so after 5 months I'm losing hope of any relief anytime soon. The head pressure and fatigue are the most dibilatating symptoms right now and really make it hard to function at all!

Of course I still deal with confusion, DP/DR, and intrusive thoughts too but the head pressure is the worst and it feels like my head is gonna burst with so much pressure and numbness in my forehead, in my temples up to the middle part of my head and like you said pain pressure and numbness down into my ears and into the right side of my brain!

Is this normal for it to be this severe after 5 months? Has me brain been permanently damaged? Is it ever gonna get better?

How long and what dose of xanax were you on maize? You seem to be having the most difficult time with head pressure then anyone. I know what you mean but my head is filled with tinnitus and a tingly weird numbness all over thats very uncomfortable but not near the unbearable pressure that you describe. It started to become more barable at about 6ish months. My worst symptom thus far was unfathomable TERROR- all night long- that prevented me from sleeping up until around the 6-7 month mark  that has also subsided greatly. I still have fear but not the terror as it once was. I also had evil hallucinations at night. I saw a 3 foot long rat with FANGS jump out of my ceiling and disappear inches from my face. Evil looking alien beings next to me at night. The terror mixed with the hallucinations were unbelievable Maize and im so thankful they have both subsided. It does improve so hold on with all you got within. If Mi plays there game they can beat anyone in the country. Again-its a big IF. They have the talent. That Wilson kid i believe will be a good pro player one day. And the German kid-Wagner-hes also got pro potential-Nowitzki-esh if you will! I think theyll get past louisville. State looked really tough against Miami but i dont see them getting past Kansas -but if they do and UM and MSU can both win 2 more theyd meet in the elite 8. Wouldnt that be cool! Anyway-stay focused and remained determined Maize because you got this! Its only a matter of time before you are actually grateful for going thru all the suffering you have because once its over we ll all have a newfound appreciation for life knowing that we can easily overcome everything thrown our way because nothing will ever compare to the beast we have slayed:benzo withdrawal. Hang tough Maize!!

Yeah I was only on xanex for 5-6 months and the dose was between .75mg-1.5mg during that time and that's what worries me is I know many that were on this drug longer and at higher doses than me and haven't had it this bad with the head pressure and physical pain in my brain!

It really is the worst and most severe symptom I have and their have been many nights I have laid in the floor on the edge of my bed or pacing back and forth crying for hours it's so bad and their days like today I can hardly lift my head or open my eyes with it!

I just don't understand how after 5 months it's still this severe with no sign of improvement at all makes me think my brain has been permanently damaged

Unfortunately Maize, I've had this for 10 months and there has been nothing that I have tried that's stopped or even slowed it down. It's been my worst symptom since day 1 ( read my signature). Im now going on 11 months. However for me, the pressure is in my face as well and is just as severe. Its awful and causes me to have panic attacks lately. Im so sorry you have this. But hopefully since you weren't on it as long as me, yours will get better soon

Yeah that's what I don't understand? I wasn't on benzos for years like most only 6 months and I never got above 1.5mg and the last two months was between .75-1.00mg so I don't get it?

The head pressure numbness and physical pain in my brain has been the worst most dibilatating symptom by far and is the one symptom along with extreme fatigue and confusion that keeps me from being functional in anyway and I'm just trying to hold onto hope but after 5 months and no improvement it's getting harder everyday!

My head pressure has been in my temple area down the side of my face and the back of my head. I got serious relief from it at the 6ish month mark so hopefully you will to maize. Hold on!

Yeah mine is in my forehead above my eyes in my temples and it runs up to the middle part of my head down into my ears and into the right side of my head down into my neck.

Sometimes the numbness and pressure is so bad in my forehead I can't hardly open my eyes and the pressure and sharp pain in the right side of my head is like someone has taking a hook and jabbed it into my brain and is hanging on it and the pressure in my ears is so bad that when I yawn it pops and they hurt like crazy! This is for sure the most dibilatating and severe symptom I have and it seems to come with extreme fatigue and it's like there is so much pressure pulling down on my head I feel dizzy and like I'm gonna fall over and pass out when I walk!

I'm really trying to hold on but after 5 months it gets harder every day with no relief and no break in these symptoms at all

I have super low vitamin D and I'm on 40000 units once a week for 7 weeks. I'm not sure if this is caused directly by the Benzos as I've been stuck in bed most of the time and haven't seen much daylight for months or a combo of both and the dark British winter we've only just seen the back of. I did read somewhere that Benzos can deplete a large array of your body's vitamins and hormones, so it's more than possible. I have noticed a tiny increase in my energy levels since my first dose of vitamin D on Friday. That's all so far but my body has pretty much zero vitamin D, so any improvement, for me at least, is gonna take a while. I'm giving it the full 7 weeks before I decide if it has helped any, and if it has, I am going to ask about staying on a lower dose of it for a while.

I hope you all notice some improvement soon  :smitten:

I am in end of 7 month and stuffs are bad but with a bit improvement. It is very hard because I slept very bad and it was very hard.It still is.I hope you sleep good at list?We cannot do nothing than keep going or go back on medicals that I am in moment thinking much about...

I had absolutely crushing fatigue until about 7-8 months. I still have it but its barable now. I used longer then you did at a much much higher dose maize so even if you are having a worse reaction then i am then you should really start getting relief within a month or so for the headaches and a couple months for the fatigue. You really are close so never lose hope because you cannot help BUT to heal. Even though it doesnt seem that way because how much suffering can a person withstand? You will get thru this although that is difficult to believe in during suffering. Hang tough maize!

I have this Maize for 10 month now no relief, no window at all. The pain is so severe all day and it gets worst by afternoon. Everything what you said I have just on my left side and plus severe burning pain in my head.

My left side of my body getting numb and scared of my life I will die from this. My anxiety highs and getting anxiety attacks because the pain. I'm thinking too, to go on some medication bc I can't take it anymore. Sleep is bad too. I was on Clonazepam for 2x 2 and half months very low dose.

Hopefully for you not going to last this long I just wanted you to know you not alone and I'm so sorry for you pain, and suffering.

Praying for you and everybody here.

Ty and it's been pretty bad after 5 months off the worst and most consistent symptom has been the head pressure numbness and physical pain in my head and it really keeps me very limited on having any quality of life at this point and I like you have had no windows and no breaks with this and I'm worried it will never get better!
