Last night was my first night in about 10 years without a benzo So far it is a total non-event and I slept through the night. I firmly believe that the dlmt  is the reason it's going so smoothly. About 5 weeks ago my sx started diminishing and disappearing. My signature shows that I have been ingesting so little over the last couple of months that my taper probably effectively ended weeks ago, Still continuing to take something every night kept my anxiety about ijumping at bay. I really didn't jump, I just eased off the poison.  While some my sx remain at a reduced level  I feel confident that I  will be fine. I didn't always feel that confident, if fact I was sure that I would be one of the ones in protracted. Sleeping soundly still requires 150mg of trazadone, but for the moment I'm ok with that.  Best of luck to everyone still in the withdrawal process. It sucks, but you will probably be one of the majority of people on this forum who heals and moves on with a normal life.  Thanks to everyone on this board who provided information and support.  I found the courage necessary to complete this difficult process on benzo buddies.
