Pain in upper right abdomen... Liver?

By now tapering I know can do some weird things to the body. This week I have pain what feels like where my liver might be. It started out in twinge, but now is pretty constant. Should I be worried of my liver and toxicity,  or is this maybe just another symptom? Should note...no alcohol use in past. Have had fatty liver in past due to obesity. Resolved itself with weight loss, but have put on a lot of weight thanks to this process.

I feel your pain because I too experience(d) many physical symptoms...but the reality is that there is not 1 person here who can tell you what is causing your pain....today is Friday...call your liver doctor immediately and a blood test could very well relieve your mind so you don't have anxiety all weekend....your history suggests you should check it out sooner rather than later, even if only for your own peace of mind.

Best wishes and please post after you see your doc...

I had acute right side pain a couple weeks after I jumped, that landed me in the ER, convinced I was in some sort of liver failure. I wasn't. All tests negative. They sent me home with a diagnosis of "gastritis".

I suffered from the same thing. A LOT of organs are there including the liver, gallbladder, and the duodenum (start of your small intestine). I thought for the longest time I had an ulcer but it turned out stress had triggered adult onset celiac disease and the gluten had eroded my villi down to almost nothing. A blood test will clear your liver, an ultrasound your gallbladder, and an endoscopy your stomach (I had all three should have had endoscopy first :/

With it being constant it is most likely an infection of the gallbladder if it's that, inflammation of the liver if it's that, a duodenal ulcer if it's that, and I highly doubt it Celiac because it's rare but here I am! Its hard not to chalk it up to withdrawls or what have you but there's an exception to every rule. If you have good insurance give yourself peace of mind. Best of luck.
