Sup party people, I just remembered this site and thought I'd come post something.

 

Benzos seriously mess with your ability to think rationally. At least when you're on them and when you're withdrawing. Just know that it's completely normal. Things will eventually normalize. I've been great for a while now, but I just wanted to say that I've been at that low point before and I know how some of you feel. It does get better. Just keep plugging along. The human body is amazing, it will find a way back to homeostasis.

 

Back when I joined this site I never imagined that I'd be in this position. I was in a dark place back then. If I can make it out, you can all do the same. Stay strong and keep fighting.

 

Oh and if you're in a state where cannabis is illegal, I highly suggest looking into CBD. It's the bees knees and it will help you.

Awesome to hear that and I smoke but never tried CBD...what did it help for you?

It always helps to hear that it's temporary, even though I know this it's good to hear from someone who's lived it.  I used to smoke herb all the time before this benzo ordeal and have been wondering about CBD's.  Anything that's natural has to be better than these poison pills, although smoking full on pot right now would probably turn into a nightmare.

Terraform, thanks so much for coming back and posting your success story!! I'm at 3 years now, and I tell you, this is getting very drawn out and old. I want so much to feel normal again. It's hard to wake up in the morning. I just wish I could stay in bed till it all passes. Thanks for telling us healing can be done!! I'm so glad you have your life back and can enjoy it now!!  :thumbsup:

Thanks for your update! I have been using CBD from Charlottes web during my taper and I feel that it helps. Took about a month of continual use to really kick in.
