anybody ever had bad reaction to a antibiotic that caued you to end up on a ben

I was on 9 antibiotics, one I had a bad reaction too (generic Bactrim) . I had bad anxiety  . at night I am alright. but in the morning until dark I am totally miserable. so I was put on a benzo. I am off know and for a while  things was looking like it was slowly getting better. I had windows every other day. not at 6 months  the windows closed.  as soon s I wake up the surges start and last until the late afternoon or evening. doe this leave or am I doomed because of what happened when I had the reaction to the antibiotic?

I don't think you're doomed. You might have had a setback, but most of us in WD end up being setback temporarily by one thing or another. I don't know much about antibiotics, but here is a sticky note from the "Other medications" part of this site:

You wouldn't be the only person to struggle when combining an antibiotic during benzo WD.
