medical folks chime in..episodes of feeling faint

Recommended Posts

I've had about 6 episodes of becoming really tired.

I mean where you just can't hold your head up.

All have hit fairly suddenly scattered though the daytime and early evening.

I think I nod off but suddenly "jerk wake" to think I've fainted or something.

My heart races, dry mouth and I feel weak.

Is this an anxiety attack disguised?

All lab and ekg's are normal..

It acts like an adrenal rush.

Help..

cantfly i swear im on some of the same wavelength ha,

stuckinarut im going through that right now, as i type this. ive been tapering probably too damn quick and right now today, im at my desk struggling to not pass the hell out. its kinda like someones trying to put me under anesthesia. i got up to get a drink of water and halfway to the damn fountain i had a little spell where i thought i was going to black out. its hard to freakin walk sometimes, and geezus im at work. ugh.

looking at your sig, we share alot of the same symptoms. its like all energy in your limbs is gone and youre head is heavy. im heavy chested too. its an awful feeling but you WILL survive it. ive got the same stuff.

yeah i think for me too im getting heavy signs this week that i MUST slow down. im having a very rough week, and its coming after 3 weeks of steadily chipping away at my morning dose.

id say for both of us man perhaps level off the tapering for a bit. im down to 6.25 from 20mg valium but i went awfully quick from 10 down to this 6.25....

It's most likely the effects of extremely high cortisol, from rapid tapering. This happened to me too.

I'll bet any sort of exercise is almost intolerable? Exercise chiefly raises cortisol too, so it's pretty much out of the question in that state.

loveandhate - this right here is whats inspiring me to slooooooooow down now. exercise intolerance while on my full dose of diazepam is what began this whole hellish journey. been pushing my taper hard, think its time to level off for a few weeks...

OK so I'm fighting 3 things

One is this wt on my neck and shoulders pushing me down and gets worse out in public.

Also the feeling faint at times.

Now I'm having this reactive asthma stuff that was not there last week.

I read where your lungs are full of GABA receptors.

AS many as your GI so the wd may be to blame?

Any thoughts on this problem?
