Setback from opiates anyone?

I had two major surgeries done at once a month ago.  The Dr. gave me Phenerghan & Percocet.  I took both about 10 days, now I'm back in muscle cramp & nerve pain hell, so weak I can barely walk, and with horrible anxiety.

Has anyone had a setback from the Percocet or any opiate?  and how long did your setback last?  I have another upcoming surgery I have to get done very soon, but can't do it like this, afraid it will set me back even further.  UGH

Sorry you had a setback.  3 months   Luckily I can't have morphine, makes me very ill, and freak out.  Affects my stomach/intestines badly too.  Hope you get back to baseline quicker than 3 months.

Alesii,

Most things affect me that way too, just a few days, like herbs & supplements, but not sure about rx's.  Only ones I've taken since acute were Percocet 2x, and first time I took just 2 for an extracted tooth and had no problems, and Vistaril often over last 6 months.  I would take it and would start to cramp over a week, so would quit for awhile.  I suspect the Phenergan is what got me.

Hope you get back to baseline fast.

I had to go on hydrocodone in April last year (2016), while I was still tapering from Clonazepam, and had no issues.

I'm so sorry for your issues.  Hope things calm down soon.  :'(

Thanks DG,

I'm pretty sure now it was the Phenergan.  I had to take Percocet a couple months ago for an abscessed tooth and it didn't affect me at all.  Will never touch Phenergan again!
