I need help on motivating myself . I have always been struggling with exercise , meditations , eating healthy. I can do this for a week or two the go back to not meditating , not exercising and not eating healthy . I am very diligent at work and other things , mostly the bills and chores in the house . Yes I do get lazy with the bills and chores in the house however I always do it . I know eating and exercising are extremely important especially for me in wd . I should be motivating to do this more and more serious ...it has been years that I keep struggling with keeping up with exercise and meditation and eating healthy . I don't eat bad but I love sweet I have been better but I need to do better . Is my problem bc of laziness ? I talked to my psychology she said its not laziness it's like ...for meditating , I do not like the feeling of quietness ...so I try to avoid ...please help ..,please give practical advice on how to tackle this issue ..,..thank you and happy Valentine

My trick may not work for you (or all Buddies) but I find a nice cup of coffee makes me (at least) 75% more active and outgoing. I force myself to the gym or even just to sit with my guitar for an hour.

I find being in WD so very depressing and along with the physical symptoms I have, it often forces me to just lay in bed and feel sorry for myself. But, more often than not, a bit of caffeine will bring me out of the rut - if only for an hour or two.

Hope that helps. Sorry if it doesn't.

Thank you so much. I have always liked coffee. When I was on benzos, I had a small cup of coffee every morning, it went fine. Nothing bad happened. However, years down the road, I just stopped drinking coffee maybe because of a few panic attacks /panicky feelings right afterwards. It could be coincidence too...so for the past 8 months going into this wd I have not drank coffee...but sometimes I want to try...However I notice sugar might be bad for me....I am thinking tea....a cup of tea...but it has caffeine in it too...I just hate sometimes my body is so sensitive and can't really enjoy things....Thank  you for the sharing ,happy valentine  :)....
