Constant panic attacks with extreme adrenaline rushes

My dr wants me to take something as he says the excess adrenine showing in my 24 hour urine is waaay too high. I am having constant random panic attacks with adrenaline surges even through tbe night causing major insomnia. He is concerned about adrenaline effects on my heart and lack of sleep. I have tried yrazadone benadryl no help to sleep. He wants me to try Remeron/ miratzipine low dose for the panic/ anxiety. Has anyone tried? Thanks.

I have trird everything majority of attacks are while sleeping and they wake me up like heart attack several times per night. My adrenal glands are messed up so my body is pumping out adrenaline like crazy

i have suffered from debilitating anxiety and adrenal fatigue my whole life. what helped tremendously for me was learning about adrenal fatigue and my diet to cater to supporting my adrenal glands. by making sure i was getting the right vitamins and nutrients, i knew i would be treating my healing brain with kindness and care. it's not an over night fix, but there is some daily comfort in knowing that what you are doing is beneficial to your health. i still struggle to get enough nourishment because anxiety and stress knock out my appetite, but when i do eat i make sure i am supporting my adrenals so they can function their best. vitamins and supplements are great too. after trying this, for the first time ever i feel like my anxiety and panic attacks are under control. best of luck to you!

May I ask you to please describe your symptoms? I'm trying to figure out my 'waves' sx, so far all tests are negative, and I'm being told it may be a sort of side-effect of my anxiety..

Sure my symptoms are just about as I am going to.fall asleep I get jolted awake. Once I am asleep within an hour I wake up with huge surge of adrenaline heart pounding sweating hot and like i just drank a pot of coffee. It take hours for the feeling to subside. I also sm having this warm adrenaline feeling over my heart and top of head during the day. It is brutal and relentless. Causing not much sleep.

It usually starts with muscle twitching as soon as I am able to relax a little and then boom adrenaline rush. They come much worse when laying down at night. No idea what to do.

I am sorry this is happening to you. I experienced a very similar thing when I ct from Estazalom. Exercise gave me temporary relief. I would go to the gym and do some intense aerobics. I was pretty fit so I could do it. It helped for about 4 hours then the sx would return.  It's miserable and I hope you can get it under control.

I take a beta blocker for adrenaline rushes.  It doesn't totally cure my insomnia though, but it is very helpful and not mood altering.

George how much beta blocker and which one if you dont mind me asking. I am desperate my norephnephire levels were very higy elevated in 24 urine testing and my surges are non stop. What time of day do you take the beta blockers. Did you start them after off benzos? Thanks sorry so many questions just freaked out.

I have severe dibilating anxiety i take remron 15mgs and helps with my sleep tremendously.. it's worth a shot .. I never got any side effects from it but that's just me.. remember the smaller the doseage with this medication the more sedating.. I know it's werid but it's true.. good luck

I take propranolol 10mg 3x day (30 mg total).  I weigh 115 lbs.  It helps me.. I hope it helps you..
