Effects of Zoloft or protracted withdrawal? Help!

Hi everyone.

I haven't posted on this page before and it's been a while since I've spent any time on BB. I am in a place where it's very triggering to read about this stuff too much...you get the idea.

My question is about the symptoms I'm having and whether or not they are from protracted withdrawal from Ativan or from the Zoloft I'm taking.

I approaching 4 +months since my last doses of Ativan. I have been living in Hell. A constant feeling of extreme anxiety, agitation, nervousness,  shaking, worry, and myoclonus.

I decided to taper off the Ativan because I've had myoclonus for years, corresponding to the time I started Ativan (and Zoloft). Afeter doing some research, it seemed like the body jerking was likely from the Ativan. After stopping it, after all these months have passed theere does not seem to be a change to the jerking. Its awful. Every time I try to meditate, go to sleep, or just try to relax my body, it starts jerking.

Well, Now I'm wondering if it's actually the Zoloft. I know ssris ca ncause anxiety, muscle tension, and feelings of anxiety and nervousness.

how the heck do I continue this way, when I'm still take a drug that could be exacerbating all the symptoms I have.

I have no idea if this is all still from coming off Ativan or if a part of it is from taking Zoloft.

I'm in a VERY sensitive emotional state, so be gentle with your responses if you would be willing to  offer any insight.

It would be most helpful if you just said, 'This is probably mostly from withdrawal from Ativan.' Or, yes, it could absolutely be worse due to the Zoloft.'

If you have specific experience with this issue, I would appreciate what you know.

If this is too vague or not possible to answer, just let me know.

thanks all in advance just for reading.

Please God help me through this.

Ranomi.
