Swollen lymph nodes???

[El...]

Recommended Posts

Last two three days I've been feeling worse, so fatigue and my muscles are so tense and painful ( especially my upper arm muscles) together with the joint paint, and my neck is killing me and so tight. Generally I feel like I have the flu but I don't have fever.

Well and then I found out I got swollen lympfnodes on the left side of my neck it's really tense and it feels warm when I touch it. I'm concerned it's something serious. My throats hurts a bit too.

Is this a common w/d?

Please no horror stories :-\

Thank you :smitten:

I'm sorry I don't have info on lymph nodes, Elbette, but, by way of bumping your thread  ;) I was wondering if you ever went back on low-dose magnesium to ease muscle tension?

Intuitively, it would seem to me that if your muscle tension is very severe then it would have knock-on effects on everything else - particularly in and around the neck area?

No FizzleWitch I actually never dared to go back on magnesium, I sometimes use some magnesium oil on my neck, but I dont think it has any affect really. I also eat 1 advokado and banana every evening, i think it contains magnesium too.

Do you think I should use magnasium? do you use it?

My experiences with magnesium were nothing but positive and there were no downsides or withdrawals when I stopped taking it. (I know some other people's experiences have been different). But it is particularly good as a muscle relaxant. I used to take it before bed.

I remember you were on a very high dose, back along and we're all aware that the " the dose makes the 'poison' " so to speak and that is probably why it affected your innards!  ;) But I would have no hesitation about going back onto it, on a low dose - like 250-300mg before bed - if I felt I needed to try it for easing muscle tension.

hmmm thank you Fizzle witch, I might try, maybe a really low dose. (if I dare :-\)

Right now the swollen lymph node conserns me more, and I start to think I have Lyme

This has been one of my weird persistent symptoms throughout taper and recovery.  During my worst wave, the lymph nodes in my neck were huge.  Since I've been off, the lymph node under my chin swells when a wave comes on, then dissipates when it passes.

I also used magnesium off/on throughout this process to help with muscle aches.  It worked great.

Take care,

WR

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH :smitten:

It actually appeared two three days ago, and after that i realized I was back in a wave again, so theres something about it.

Its strange all we need is a bit of reassurance, otherwise we tend to worry and worry and go all anxiety. I actually also read that stress can course swollen lymph nodes, and stressed I am in a wave.

thank u again
