Withdrawal symptoms kicking up after 4% decrease in 1 week

Anyone else experience this? I thought I was going pretty slow with my taper? I started to feel the heart racing and palpitations that I get from withdrawal last night and again tonight. Should I hold where I am for a few days or up dose to where I felt ok at? Ughhhh I feel like this is gonna be a loooooong taper!

 

Also, I have propranolol that was prescribed to me for anxiety as well but I don't take it because I don't like the way I feel when I take it every day. My most upsetting symptoms are the racing heart and palps. Has anyone taken this for similar symptoms during a taper?

Xanax isnt my med, so others might pick something up...

But by your sig, it looks like u have had a bit going on over the last two weeks... you would have to decide on an updose yourself, depending on how u r tollerating ur sxs, but try to hang off as best you can... it could be a tempory hickup from the c/t...?

Try to distract your way through...

This is exactly what my worst symptoms are...heart and bp. I have tapered faster than you have but it's misery at every level. Xanax is a beast to get off of. Try to get busy to take your mind off the symptoms. Take a walk or catch a movie.
