Positive changes

I've only posted here a couple of times, each post is full of despair.. I am just entering my ninth month off and my worst, lingering side effects are finally beginning to lift. The depression was so bad, I never thought it would leave, I haven't felt depressed in a little over two weeks. I have been exercising everyday, keeping up with housework, taking my kids and our dog for long walks about every other day, and the biggest thing I've done was visit my best friend out of town for a weekend with my kids. Even a month ago I would have to MAKE myself do things, it's so much better to WANT to do things. I am still experiencing a bit of fatigue, adrenaline surges and irritability. But what a huge improvement I've seen and it's the most noticeable improvement I have felt the entire nine months. I just wanted to share this glimmer of hope. I know how much the positive posts on here have helped me.

Thank you so much for your positive post. It means a lot for me because I'm close to 9 months off too. I'm looking for this kind of post every day even if I know everybody heals different time.

My quit time was close to the same as yours jw. Im having a slight wave at the moment but hope i come out soon. Thanks for the encouragement and glad u r up and running. Sure ur kids are thrilled!
