Hello Buds

I believe I've hit tolerance at .25 Klonopin. I've been at this dose for a month now, and for the last three days I've been feeling bad. Should I raise dosage or just go ahead and lower to 0.125 now?

Thanks for any and all answers.

If you have been at this dose for a month and have mostly felt good I would definitely not updose. A cut may make things better or worse, but I would not cut to .125, I would make a much smaller cut.

Thanks for the advice. Would you suggest taking a 1/4 cut of a .25 off? I imagine since I'm finally starting to feel some withdrawal, the lower I go the harder. I was hoping to jump by April. :-\

hi all(i feel like a real simpleton introducing myself like that - it reeks of post - op lobotomy).

new here.new to forums in general.

i can taste your pain - this sounds awfully creepy, but having been through the toxic grinder and

having been completely and utterly astonished by the lack of empathy and more importantly - KNOWLEDGE -of the clueless callous

c@nts who keep the wing of psuedo - scientific 'medicine' we all know as psychiatry - the thing of conspiracies - though their public 'foibles' are there for all to see(we can all agree that no one likes to stray too far from the 'status quo' - the truth generally stings).

one can apparently put a 'price' on human life.

a multi.......sorry, i will stop - it is patronising to hear - though not my intention.im just angry and we should all be!

i wish i had an answer for you.i have been trying to come off alprazolam without a buffer - till i got down from 6mg a day to 0.65mg three times a day.

i had hit my limit and was done.

had ninety morphine tabs.was going to finally be embraced by the cold indifferent arms of oblivion.

i discovered the ashton manual and am at an impasse.

i wont hijack this discussion.

all i can offer is my sincere support - how f@cking privileged you must feel  :-X

if anything, through experience - slow and steady - cliche yes, but it has worked for many i have encountered.

as individual as we all are - with regards to chemical make up - there is certainly(in my mind) a common thread -  principles that

ring true for most.

i hope that everything works out.

i would say hang in there, but im not a sadistic bastard.

fight.if you can.

do your best.

we have all discovered how strong we are going through this godawful sh$t.

sorry for being of no help.

i wish i knew more........sorry  :(

Hi Bugsy,

Lots of people have a hard time tapering the lower doses of klonopin, I know I did. I eventually had to cross to valium but many are successful at tapering directly. Either getting a scale and making small reductions based on % of pill weight, or dissolving the pill and reducing the amount of liquid taken seems to work. At any rate, I would not go back up after all the progress you have made.

Hi Hank Chinaski-

I see that you are new to the forum and also having a hard time. I am sorry that you are struggling. However, I would like to remind you of some of the rules for using benzobuddies that help make this a supportive and encouraging place to be. Please try to follow these guidelines with your future posts.

Take care,

JKS
