I feel like I've hit rock bottom. I'm in my 7th month from my jump. I guess this is a wave but, I've always managed on my days off to get up and, go somewhere, do something. This past week, so much back and muscular pain. Also last night and this whole week sleep has not been the greatest. Just when I felt things were getting better and sleep was getting better. Is it normal to want to stay in bed today? I have no energy, I'm in pain, I'm dizzy. What is this? Please someone help me. Love K

This happened to me, too, but at 5 months out. I was in such bad shape that walking outside just to rest in the sun for a bit felt like running a marathon. It varies from person to person of course, but I suffered through this phase (or "wave") for roughly a month. That was the very worst part of my recovery, I must admit. I do not know specifically what caused it, other than it was likely due to a neurotransmitter and/or hormonal imbalance as my body and mind were attempting to reboot and sync everything up again, so to speak. The only advice I can really give is to continue being patient, as the healing process will take some time. I will be 2 years out in May and still have some minor issues, but they're slowly fading as time passes. Rest as much as you can, get some sun each day (especially in the morning), and try to walk around or do some other form of light exercise when you can. Just know that healing follows no clock or calendar, and that some days (and weeks) will seem as if you're going backwards, but you're not. Bit by bit you're getting better. SO HANG IN THERE. Good luck, and Godspeed to you.
