Yes! But it gets better now. I have moments like I can't even understand where I am. They are only few seconds, but I had very bad memory till the 14th month. I couldn't remember or understood even a sentence that I had just read. It will improve, it's normal symptom. You will be fine just need time unfortunately.

Yes, and sometimes I can't think of a word I want to say, and end up stuttering around till I can think of the word, or sometimes can't ever think of the word, and then feel like an idiot.

Yes, I have this. Some days I am better, some days I am worse.  I can't follow much of a conversation. I can't recall much information either...frustrating at times...I feel I am not 'normal', too young to have this kind of brain thingy.

I am educated, but I was never bright.

I was an engineer years ago, and recently I tested my capacity to

analyze a machine performance issue that's somewhat controversial

and poorly understood online.

It did not go well; it took me forever; 3 dozen rewrites;

a failure in any work environment.

But again I realized that I was thinking on a nonconscious level, since the

poor results were still better than I expected from my ruined brain.

This does not bode well for me in practical terms, but it adds a little

confidence that I can cope someday.  All neurons are injured, but those

injured reserves will help if and when recovery happens.

(Some insist that recovery happens, but it can be too late for some.)
