11 Months - Tinnitus Still Raging

Today marks 11 months since I jumped, and I'm so disappointed that the tinnitus is still raging.  I have brief windows when it's quieter, but for the most part it's loud and constant.  Is there any hope?  Will it really go away? I can't imagine I will be writing a Success Story in one month, as I had hoped.

People that have never touched a benzo end up with tinnitus, so no one can assure you that this will go away.  It might be you'd have tinnitus if you'd have never taken these drugs.

 

That said, I'd say that most seem to get over tinnitus or at least have it substantially improve.  Unfortunately it seems to be one of the very last things to resolve.

 

If you're younger and haven't otherwise abused your ears chances are this will eventually go away.
