Pain

Well I've been struggling with muscle pain in my neck shoulder and collar bone. It's like a permanent tight cramp. The pain is so intense at times that sitting lying and walking are difficult. On top of that I've got head pressure in the back of my head and tinnitus and I'm five months off Clonazepam and Zopliclone after an insane rapid taper. Too ignorant to protest.

 

It's been like this for days and I'm so tired. What a wave! I decided against going to the doctor but called a helpline and was told that this is common to benzo withdrawal. Whilst reassuring It's hard to believe that this level of pain is common.

It is very common. I have had and still have to a lesser degree

 

I used to have so much pain that I would tell my wife I need morphine

 

It will get better. One day at a time

Don't forget controlled deep breathing. it helps me release that

I have a horror neck pain.Like somebidy bitted me in neck.I cannot touch myself there anymore.

Thanks for your responses. I've been off five months. I can understand you thinking you needed morphine I almost called an ambulance the other night I got so scared.

 

It even hurts to chew. I'm trying gentle rotations of my shoulder but sometimes I can't and when the muscles spasm it's agony - and pain the rest of the time.

 

I will get through this. Thanks guys.
